My Little Boy Is Growing Up
On our last day in Disney, Eli had his first haircut. I had put it off as long as possible, and kind of hoped we would run out of time. We had planned to do it on this trip for a while, but about a month ago all his beautiful curls grew in. I wasn't quite ready to part with them.
The haircut was largely ceremonial. She trimmed is "wings" off the sides and a little of the back and around the ears, but most of the curls were left. The Mickey ears say "First Haircut" on the back of the hat, where the name usually goes. It is a special treat for those who get their first haircut at the Main Street Barber Shop.
We are all in our swim gear because we were headed to the water park as soon as we finished the haircut.
Walker wanted a haircut while we were there (and probably needed one), too.

This is so cool! How did you even know you could do this?
It's about time you cut that boy's hair...it was starting to look like a wig! ;) Payback, my dear!
How cute! I can't believe he has already gotten his first haircut! He is such a big boy.
