Last Saturday our little family split paths. Jason and I headed to Auburn to watch our Tigers play LSU and the boys headed out with Grammy and Grin for a day packed with more fun than they ever have with mommy and daddy.
The boys went to Tannehill State Park. They were having 'trade days' which means there was lots of opportunity to buy prizes.
They also got to ride the train there. It appears that my boys could not possibly be the only ones with this little train obsession. Every place we go there is a small train for kids to beg to ride. I'm not complaining. I'm just saying I never noticed that trains were literally everywhere before the boys demanded to ride them all.
Walker made his own train at Grammy's.
Eli enjoyed his messy spaghetti.
Jason has taught Walker that absolutely everything needs pepper, even a grilled cheese.
Jason and I had a great time in Auburn. We tailgated with our friends the Wyrosdicks, and had a good game to watch, even if it didn't end the way we had hoped. I always enjoy all the people we run into at a game. It's like returning to visit all your extended family. You never know who you are going to see, but you know you are going to see lots of familiar faces.

I'm so glad you guys had a good time (even if the ending was exactly as you'd hoped)! That game is always such fun!! I hope you guys can pull off the win against Tennessee - I'll be rooting hard for ya'll. And, I know the kids enjoyed the time with their grandparents - just look at the smiles on their faces!
Oops; I meant to say "even if the ending WASN'T exactly as you'd hoped" although I'm sure you were probably able to figure that out :) Anyhoo . . .
you look so good in this pic. i didn't know ya'll were in town for the game!
